Intranet Release Notes - 2024-05-20

Introduction

This release adds improvements and fixes for the Operations Center, Branding, QuickLinks and Reach Webparts.

Operation Center - V1.0.3

Improvements

• QuickLinks WebPart:
  • Implemented a fix to allow users to edit in the property panel and visualize changes in real-time without closing the panel.
  • Added a toggle for using webpart or branding style properties.
  • Added audience support and documentation for the QuickLinks webpart.
  • Implemented scrolling for the content list to enhance usability when multiple items exist.
  • Created a new webpart based on the current QuickLinks webpart for better integration and functionality.

Fixes

• Resolved an issue where the audience dropdown checkbox did not toggle when selecting the audience.
• Fixed the legacy QuickLinks component's audience path in the OpCenter.
• Updated the path to the audience in the legacy QuickLinks components.

New Features

• Created a webpart to allow users to create, delete, and update private links.
• Implemented caching for better performance.
• Integrated the new webpart with the API.

Branding - SharePoint

Fixes

• jQuery Integration:
  • Fixed an issue where injecting jQuery code was not supported via JavaScript code on Branding configuration.
• Everywhere Widget:
  • Resolved errors when clicking on the assistant reference and when trying to change a default tab name. The page URL was broken, and errors were shown when saving changes.

Reach Webparts

Improvements

• News / Events:
  • Enhanced the sticky modal toolbar's "stickiness" of the header when scrolling through news from SharePoint.
  • Added the ability to set a default view for the web part in the property pane.
  • Language Support: Translated 'Previous/next' to German.

MegaMenu

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where the Classic View did not display all 3rd level elements.

Less Relevant Changes

• Some minor bug fixes and path updates, while necessary, have less visible impact on overall user experience but are essential for maintaining a seamless operation.
