New Feature: Attribute name localization support
You can now configure the display name for an attribute for each language you like. These names will display wherever a users sees them when their locale settings are set to that language.
New Feature: Cross attribute free text searches in Directory web parts
You can now do free text searches in the Directory web part and have different search terms match from different profile attributes. For example, searching for "Sally Product" will return all people called "Sally" who are in the department "Product".
New Feature: External workflow support for profile notifications
Power Automate can now be configured to run a workflow whenever a notification to a user to sent. This gives flexibility to use whatever connectors available via Power Automate to send notifications of updates needed to people.
New Feature: Date Format Attribute
Attributes can now be set to a Date format to ensure that only valid dates/times are entered into an attribute.
New Feature: Filter by attribute name in the Event Log and Export to csv
Administrators now have the ability to filter the event log for updates on a particular attribute and export those results to CSV. This makes is very easy to find all updates to, for example, mobile phone that people have made.
New Feature: Filter by query string property in Directory web part
You can use the new "copy link" button to quickly get a link you can share with others for the search you performed in the Directory web part. This link can be sent to others, or put on a web part to give others a quick way to do a pre defined search.
New Feature: Office365 login flow is more streamlined
Previously people needed to click the login button before signing in with their Office 365 credentials. Now people will be automatically directed through the login flow and automatically signed in if they have already signed into Office 365. This makes login much faster and more streamlined.
Fix: Regional settings removed from Web Parts
You no longer need to set the region your Directory deployment is in e.g. US, AU or UK, in the web part settings. This is automatically determined now.
