Introduction
This release contains new features, changes, improvements, and resolved issues. If an entry here is a result of a bug report or feature request, the relevant ID number (#xxxx) will be at the end of the entry.
Prerequisites
It is required to have 6.67 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.
Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.
Supported environments
This release supports the following environments:
- Office 365 Tenant and Azure
- SharePoint Server 2013
- SharePoint Server 2016
- SharePoint Server 2019
Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Enterprise on Modern SharePoint experiences capabilities are not currently supported on SharePoint Server 2019.
Changes and improvements
- Noticeboard (Classic): An option to "Show less comments" is now available in the comments section of individual Noticeboard items.
- Noticeboard (Modern): A 'Show all items' option, which displays all Noticeboard items available to users, based on their permissions, is now available in the Noticeboard contextual menu.
- Noticeboard (Modern): A 'Show print option' toggle has been added to the property pane to allow users to hide or display the print option for articles within the selected web part.
- Noticeboard (Modern): A11y - The 'options' context menu can now be tabbed out of, if no item has been selected.
- Noticeboard (Modern): The date and time of comments on Noticeboard items will now be displayed according to the user's selected language.
- Noticeboard (Modern): There is now no overlap between the 'Read more' button and the progress bar on the Full Width template in smaller resolutions.
- Noticeboard (Modern): Upon applying or clearing a filter, the pagination will now automatically reset to the first page.
- Noticeboard (Modern): Users will no longer be able to drag and drop files into the Noticeboard text editor.
- Page Information (Classic): The date and time format of Page Information fields will now be displayed according to the user's selected language.
Resolved issues
- Corporate News (Modern) - #28630: Having 'Show best quality image' and 'Enable animation' selected at the same time will no longer cause image resolution problems.
- Noticeboard (Administration) - #27753: The 'read' count of items in multiple channels of the same name will no longer be duplicated in Noticeboard Insights.
- Noticeboard (Classic) - #28639: Disabling the 'Show view count' toggle in the Noticeboard administration now works for Classic.
- Noticeboard (Modern) - #29038: Clicking 'Enter' to open a Noticeboard article will no longer result in a like being added to the item.
- Noticeboard (Modern) - #29038: Tabbing through the cards template will now follow a left-right, top-bottom order.
- Service Desk (Classic): Attempting to upload unsupported files will no longer result in the upload button disappearing.
- Workspaces (Classic) - #27557: Workspaces can now be created with the Faroese character 'Á' for on-prem subsites and site collections, as well as online subsites.
- Workspaces (Classic) - #24872: The BusinessApppSharepointSiteCreated webhook event will now be successfully invoked when provisioning workspaces.
Administration
- Admin: A new health check endpoint was introduced to integrate with Azure App Service Health Check to increase the application's availability by rerouting requests away from unhealthy instances and replacing instances if they remain unhealthy. This update includes the following health checks:

- SQL Database Health Check: Validate the connectivity and responsiveness of the SQL database
- Blob Storage Health Check: Verify the accessibility of the blob storage service for seamless file operations
- App_Data Write Health Check: Confirm the ability to write to the App_Data folder for optimal functionality
- Disk Space Health Check: Monitor available disk space to maintain smooth application performance

Note: Your App Service plan should be scaled to two instances to fully utilize Health Check and will require manual setup in order to function. We do not provide any additional user interface to monitor the health check endpoint.
- UPN Change - #25618: Updating UPN will no longer result in the user being duplicated in the Enterprise database.
- Page Revision Timer Iob - #26987, 29186 - When using a search service account to execute the page revision time job, the Azure AD app needs "Sites.FullControl.All" Delegated Graph API permission for successful execution.
Known issues
- Multiple web parts (Noticeboard, Corporate News, Pages information) display the date format in English US (en-us) for users with English UK (en-gb) as the preferred language.
- Noticeboard Channel creation issue. New channels are not rendered correctly in the Noticeboard webpart. - Hotfix is Released.
