Introduction

This release contains new features, changes, improvements, and resolved issues.  If an entry here is a result of a bug report or feature request, the relevant ID number (#xxxx) will be at the end of the entry.

This is a needed release for Online environments to ensure your system continues to function as intended after April 2026. Please be sure to follow the guide carefully and reach out to us if you need assistance, prior to starting the upgrade. 

Prerequisites ​

It is required to have 7.0.0 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.

Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.

Supported environments

This release supports the following environments:

• Office 365 Tenant and Azure
• SharePoint Server 2013​​
• SharePoint Server 2016
• SharePoint Server 2019
• SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (SE)

Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Enterprise on Modern SharePoint experience capabilities are not currently supported on SharePoint Server 2019.

Resolved issues

• All Webparts (modern): Fix empty WizdomContext problem in tenants which use local app catalog.

• All Webparts (modern) - #55997: Fix console log error “interaction_required” when acquiring access token.

• Corporate News (modern): Fix “Out of Memory” error when page contains many high quality images.

• Learning & Events (classic) - #55716: Fix problem when downloading Participants list as CSV file.
