To create your first theme, navigate to Intranet > Branding within the Operational Center.
Create a Theme: Initiate the process by clicking the Create a Theme button.
Name Your Theme
Site Collection: Optionally specify a site collection for your theme or leave it blank for a tenant application.
Color Selection: Choose a theme color, with live previews showing the impact of your choice on a sample website.
Upload a logo
Button Shape: Choose the shape of buttons (All Rounded, Mid-Round, Square).
Mega Menu Text: Decide on the branding color for text in your mega menu and its alignment (Left, Center).
Menu Style: Select between the classic submenu or the compact submenu.
Font Selection: Use the SharePoint default, choose from a provided list, or specify a custom font via URL.
Advanced Settings: Toggle some SharePoint features and also gives the possibility to add custom CSS and Javascript
Publishing a Theme
Apply Your Theme: Once created, your theme will be listed in the Branding section.
Publish Your Theme: Use the Publish button to apply changes.
Adjust and Republish: Themes can be easily adjusted, with changes effective upon republishing.
Export/Import Theme
Select Your Theme: Identify the theme you wish to export.
Export Theme: Look for the Export option associated with your theme and click it. The theme's settings will be downloaded to your computer as a file.
Create New Theme: Return to Intranet > Branding in the Operational Center and click on the option to create a new theme.
Select Import Option: Choose the Import Existing Theme option to proceed with importing a theme.
Naming Your Theme: Provide a name for your new theme. This name will help you identify it among other themes.
Application Scope: Decide whether the theme should be applied across your tenant or only to a specific site collection. Make your selection accordingly.
Upload Theme File: Upload the theme file you previously downloaded during the export process. This file contains all the customization settings of the exported theme.
Create Theme: Click on Create Theme to finalize the process. The system will generate a new theme with all the settings from the exported theme.
Delete Theme
Select the Theme: Go to the Branding section, find, and click on the theme you want to delete.
Edit Mode: Hit the Edit button for the selected theme to access its settings.
Delete Option: At the top right, click the Delete button. You'll see a confirmation prompt.
Confirm Deletion: Click "Delete" in the confirmation box to delete the theme.
Automatic Redirect: After deletion, you'll be sent back to the summary page.
