Introduction
This release contains new features, changes, improvements, and resolved issues. If an entry here is a result of a bug report or feature request, the relevant ID number (#xxxx) will be at the end of the entry.
This is a needed release for Online environments to ensure your system continues to function as intended after April 2026. Please be sure to follow the guide carfully and reach out to us if you need assistance, prior to starting the upgrade.
Add-in App Retirement
IMPORTANT: Every environments online and on-premisses will be impacted by the changes, once the runtime of .net framework on Intranet Enterprise has been updated to 4.8.1.

Microsoft has announced the retirement of the SharePoint Add-In model for SharePoint Online by April 2, 2026.
In this version Intranet Enterprise will move from using the SharePoint Add-In authentication model to the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL.js).
This update ensures Intranet Enterprise remains compatible with Microsoft’s evolving security and authentication standards.
Prerequisites
It is required to have 6.74.7 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.
Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.
Supported environments
This release supports the following environments:
- Office 365 Tenant and Azure
- SharePoint Server 2013
- SharePoint Server 2016
- SharePoint Server 2019
- SharePoint Server Subscription Edition (SE)
Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Enterprise on Modern SharePoint experience capabilities are not currently supported on SharePoint Server 2019.
Changes and improvements
- All Webparts: Handle SharePoint Add-in retirement, moving from using SharePoint Add-In authentication to modern authentication method (MSAL.js and Client Certificate).

- Administration: Re-branding Admin Center to unify with Omnia platform.
- Noticeboard (Administration): Deleted channels can now be recovered from a Recycle Bin within 30 days of deletion.

Noticeboard (Modern) - #36661: You can now set a default search value for Noticeboard webparts on a page by adding a
searchparameter to the page URL. - Noticeboard (Classic & Modern): Updated several API endpoints to ensure permissions are enforced correctly.
- People Search (Classic & Modern) - #34649: A feature toggle to allow external users to be searchable has been added under the Permission section in the Administration Center.
Resolved issues
- Lightning Page - #36139: Fix Lightning page not working due to CDN endpoints.
- Noticeboard (Modern) - #38938: Fix display of translation options for new Noticeboard items broken.
- Revision emails - #35342: Fix issue with revision email being sent even though the module and the timer job has been disabled.
