Introduction

This release contains new features, changes, improvements, and resolved issues.  If an entry here is a result of a bug report or feature request, the relevant ID number (#xxxx) will be at the end of the entry.

Prerequisites ​

It is required to have 6.59.1.0 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.

Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.

Supported environments

This release supports the following environments:

• SharePoint Server 2019

Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Wizdom on Modern SharePoint experiences capabilities are currently not supported on SharePoint Server 2019.

Changes and improvements

• Corporate news: - Updated Corporate News Timeline template to make the entire carousel clickable and open the news article.
• Noticeboard: - Ensured date format is displayed consistently across our modules and fixed minor issues with English (UK, US, AU), Spanish, German, Norwegian and Swedish.
• Policies for me: #18509 - Added a new hide web part feature for Policies for me. If enabled, this will hide the web part if there are no policies to read by the current user. This can be enabled from the web part properties.
• Powerpanel: - Improved Everywhere Panel navigation for accessibility. Now after opening a flyout, pressing the right arrow key will move the focus to the first element in the open flyout. Pressing the left arrow key while the focus is inside the flyout will turn the focus back to the tile.

• Noticeboard: #19321 - RSS channels validation added when the RSS feed is already being used in any other channel.
• Noticeboard: Editor image upload limit increased to 15Mb.
• Noticeboard: Fixed issue with noticeboard text overlapping in the power panel.
• Powerpanel: Fixed Power Panel and app bar switching position in site contents.
• Powerpanel: Fix for panel overlapping Sharepoint app bar on Sharepoint pages.
• Quicklinks: #21043 - Fixed issue to add personal links in classic and service menu.
• Workspaces: #18590 - Fixed issue to show taxonomy panel in front of rich text box.
• Workspaces: #17578 - Taxonomy field fixed error fixed when it allows only one term.
• Workspaces: #17407 - Fixed workspace filtering when there are commas in the filter.
