Introduction

Prerequisites
It is required to have 6.74 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.
Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.
Supported environments
This release supports the following environments:
- Office 365 Tenant and Azure
- SharePoint Server 2013
- SharePoint Server 2016
- SharePoint Server 2019
Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Enterprise on Modern SharePoint experience capabilities are not currently supported on SharePoint Server 2019.
jQuery Version Upgrade (On-Premises 2013, 2016-2019)
Overview: Due to vulnerabilities in jQuery version 2.1.1, jQuery has been upgraded to version 3.7.1 to enhance security and performance.
Required actions (On-Premises only):
- Verify File Presence:
- Ensure the new jQuery file is in the blob storage folder at: blob\Public\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery.min.js.
- Update File if Missing:
- Create the necessary folder structure if it does not exist.
- If the file or folder is not present, copy it from the publication zip file, which can be found at Wizdom website\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery.min.js
Important Notes:
- The jQuery.min.js file must be correctly placed in the specified folder to avoid any disruptions.
- Online hosted environments DO NOT require any actions.
Resolved issues
- Corporate news (Modern): #36966 - The issue of news not being displayed on corporate news using SharePoint search has been fixed.
- Events & Learning (Classic): #35301 - The issue of events and learning not loading events has been fixed.
