Introduction

This release contains new features, changes, improvements, and resolved issues.  If an entry here is a result of a bug report or feature request, the relevant ID number (#xxxx) will be at the end of the entry.

Prerequisites ​

It is required to have 6.74.1 or any hotfix installed before upgrading to this version.

Please check previous release notes if you are not upgrading from the latest version.

Supported environments

This release supports the following environments:

• Office 365 Tenant and Azure
• SharePoint Server 2013​​
• SharePoint Server 2016
• SharePoint Server 2019

Please note: As the SharePoint Modern experience platform and development framework is too far behind SharePoint Online, the Enterprise on Modern SharePoint experience capabilities are not currently supported on SharePoint Server 2019.

jQuery Version Upgrade (On-Premises 2013, 2016-2019)

Overview: Due to vulnerabilities in jQuery version 2.1.1, jQuery has been upgraded to version 3.7.1 to enhance security and performance. Also a file named jquery-migrate.min.js has been added in the same folder. 

Required actions (On-Premises only):

1. Verify File Presence:
   • Ensure the new jQuery files is in the blob storage folder at: "blob\Public\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery.min.js" and "blob\Public\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery-migrate.min.js".
2. Update File if Missing:
   
   • Create the necessary folder structure if it does not exist.
   • If the files or folder is not present, copy it from the publication zip file, which can be found at "Wizdom website\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery.min.js" and "Wizdom website\Base\Bundles\cdnlocal\jquery\3.7.1\jquery-migrate.min.js".

Important Notes:

1. The jQuery.min.js file must be correctly placed in the specified folder to avoid any disruptions.
2. Online hosted environments DO NOT require any actions.

Resolved issues

• Service Menu (Classic) - #37121: Admin UI (Modules → Service Menu → Predefined links) is not showing Personal Links (Type = 3) anymore.

  Page Review Date - #35841: Now the option “Send mail after revision date is passed“ will limit the query time range based-on the last query date to current date

  Page Information (Modern) - #37004: Page Information web part now reliably shows metadata from the Term store.

  QuickLinks (Classic and Modern) - #36964: Resolved issue where Quick Links occasionally failed to display.
