Tile Settings - Advanced Tab

The Advanced tab allows for more direct control of the tile through administrative settings and custom code. Users can control tile visibility to specific groups of people, disallow other users to modify the tile,  and implement custom CSS classes.

Tile Visibility

Changes which groups can or cannot view the tile. Permissions are selected with a drop down for Everyone, ‘Only for’ or ‘For everyone except’.
When ‘Only for’ or ‘For everyone except’ is selected, another drop down menu will appear where groups can be assigned to the category that was selected.

Lock Tile for Non-owners

Toggles the tile to only be modifiable by an owner.

Custom CSS Classes

Allows multiple Custom CSS classes to be added to the tile, allowing more direct control of the tile through custom code.

When configuring Tile Visibility, it is important to verify the permissions that are selected. It is also important to assign groups to the correct categories when selecting "Only for" or "For Everyone Except" permissions. 

The tile allows multiple Custom CSS classes to be added, which enables designers to utilized a number of effects and styles not provided out of the box.
