While working remotely, you’ll probably be dealing with multiple platforms throughout the day. One of the best things about using Microsoft Teams is how easily you can cut down on emails.
If you’ve ever sent important information via email that you don’t want to have to post to multiple platforms, or want to share an existing email with a specific group, you can forward or send it directly to a channel in Teams and this tip will show you how.
Here’s how
- Go to the channel that you would like to share an email to and click on the three dots in the top right.
- Choose the get email option and select copy, to save the address to your clipboard.
- You can then use this unique email like any other email address by adding it as a recipient to your outgoing or forwarded messages.
- The email will then be displayed in the channel, with the same formatting that it was sent with.
