In the administrative interface, the feature can be completely disabled:
When a document is due for revision, warnings can be issued to the page contact by email:
Setting a default audit date
(Date of audit / W365_RevisionDate). In order to set it up, perform the following steps:
- On the rootweb choose Site Settings
- Under Web Designer Galleries navigate to Site columns
- From the long list choose Date of audit
Configuring templates for the Page Review module
The Page Revision module includes a selection of pre-defined templates for the Page Revision module.
You find an overview of all templates for the Page Revision module under the ‘Templates’ area in the Page Revision module administration.
From here, you can edit existing templates and create new.

Overview of templates for the Page Review Date module
The templates control the notifications users and content owners receive when content is due to revision date. Here, we will walk through the templates available:
The template named “PageRevisionNoSmiley" controls the notifications users receive on pages with a revision date that has passed. This template displays the warning in simple text.
The template named “PageRevisionSmiley" controls the notifications, users receive on pages, regarding the status of content revision. This template displays the status with smiley icons symbolising the status with a green smiley ticked for pages that are recently revisioned, a yellow smiley ticked for pages that need to be revisioned soon, and a red smiley ticked for pages that are past revision date.
The template named “Email" controls the emails that are sent to content owners when content is close to or past revision date.
