Introduction
The Quicklinks module and web part(s) provide many capabilities for both editors and users in the modern workplace.
Editors can compose a list of corporate links in the module that can easily be managed and added to Quicklinks web parts anywhere in SharePoint, as well as compose a list of links on-the-fly in the web part to provide easy access to tools and other resources together with a description, icon or image and even audience targeting.
Users can just as easily create their own personal links in the web part, if an editor has configured the web part to allow for this.

Templates
The Quicklinks web part comes with two pre-made templates:
- List
- Visual
List template The list template displays a simple list of links. |
|
Visual template The visual template displays a list of links with an image and a title. We recommend using image size 63×63 pixels for a perfect fit. |

Limitations in Modern
- It’s currently not possible to add links with an icon – only images are available.
- Allowing users to sort and delete predefined links (shared and corporate links) is not possible – users can only edit, delete and move their own links.
- It’s not possible to create categories, shared and corporate links from Quick links in Power Panel due to limitations – but it will work for personal links.

Quicklinks module settings
In Enterprise Configuration Center, you can define and customize the look, feel, and functionality of the Quicklinks module by the means of templates.
The Quicklinks module includes a selection of pre-defined templates for the Link Collection web parts.
You find an overview of templates for the Quicklinks module under the ‘Templates’ tab in the Quicklinks module administration.
From here, you can edit existing templates and create new.
