Introduction
The Forget User module enables users to be completely forgotten in the Enterprise product.
The module will make sure to anonymize the selected user(s)’ full name and email where these data appear in the database of the customer’s Enterprise solution. This means, that for all GDPR purposes, that person’s information is no longer stored, and any content, the user has provided, will have ‘unknown’ as author.
Forget User Module Administration
In the ‘Select user(s)’ field of the Forget User module administration, select the user or users whose data you want to anonymize in the Enterprise product and click ‘Forget User’.
After this, the selected user(s)’ full name and email in the Wizdom user database table will be anonymized.
Any content this user has provided in the Enterprise database will have ‘removed’ displayed as author, and all @mentions of that user in Enterprise will be replaced by ‘@removed’.
NOTE: There is no undo function for this. If a forgotten user logs into the solution after having his or hers name and email anonymized, the user will appear as a new user.
Remove users push registrations
Clicking “Remove user(s) registrations ” will remove all device registrations in connected notification hubs for that user. The user will then no longer be able to receive push messages on registered devices, until those devices are registered again. Be aware that this happens automatically, if the user still has access to any mobile apps that are authorized to access this tenant.
NOTE: There is no undo function for this, but the user(s) will easily be able to enable push again, by opening any mobile apps and allow them to register for push again.
